The Augusta RiverHawks had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 6-1 win over Mississippi Surge. Mississippi Surge was stymied by Augusta netminder Robbie Moss, who stopped 27 shots during the victory. Moss managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 2.75 prior to the game.
