The Louisiana IceGators used a sparkling performance by Riley Gill to take down Mississippi Surge, as the netminder did not allow a goal in Louisiana's 3-0 shutout victory. The IceGators were led by Shawn McNeil, who tallied one goal. McNeil scored 5:40 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Louisiana. Troy Ofukany assisted on the tally.
