Mississippi RiverKings vanquishes Huntsville in shootout, 4-3 (1-0 SO)

Mississippi RiverKings and the Huntsville Havoc both failed to score in overtime, but Mississippi RiverKings won the game 4-3 (1-0 SO) after Matt Harrington's deciding goal in the shootout.

The two teams needed nine turns to complete the shootout.

Mississippi RiverKings came back from a one-goal deficit to capture the victory. Mississippi RiverKings trailed 3-2 after a goal by Huntsville's Stuart Stefan at 3:07 in the third period. Mississippi RiverKings knotted things up at 3-3 on a goal by Harrington at 6:00 in the third period.

Mississippi RiverKings got the win with help from a great game by Harrington, who had one goal and one assist.
