Ian Finnerty was all over the ice for Mississippi RiverKings, as he tallied two goals in Mississippi RiverKings' 5-2 win over the Louisiana IceGators. Finnerty scored at 16:54 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Mississippi RiverKings and again while 13:10 into the third to make the score 3-2 Mississippi RiverKings.Mississippi RiverKings pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 21 penalty minutes. Mississippi RiverKings excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in seven chances. Mississippi RiverKings additionally got points from Tyler Sheldrake, who also registered one goal and one assist. Mississippi RiverKings also got a goal from Jeremy Dawes as well. More assists for Mississippi RiverKings came via Kevin Willer, Andrew Randazzo, Nick Walsh, Daniel Barczuk, and Matt Whitehead, who contributed one a piece and Paul Kurceba and Todd Hosmer, who each chipped in two.
