Suffolk Juniors falls to Brewster Bulldogs in overtime, 6-5 (OT)

Connor Bubolo gave Brewster Bulldogs a 6-5 (OT) victory over Suffolk Juniors when he scored 2:58 into the extra period.

Brewster Bulldogs overcame a three-goal deficit to capture the victory. Brewster Bulldogs was down 4-1 after a goal by Suffolk Juniors' Joseph Quinn at 11:53 in the second period. Brewster Bulldogs tied things up at 5-5 on a power play goal by Bubolo at 19:55 in the third period.

Brewster Bulldogs stifled Suffolk Juniors' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Brewster Bulldogs surpassed its usual scoring output this season. Brewster Bulldogs has scored at the pace of 3.1 goals per game during the current campaign. Brewster Bulldogs could not stay out of the penalty box, as the team accrued 20 minutes in penalties during the game.

Brewster Bulldogs also got points from Taylor Folchetti, who also had one goal and one assist. Austin King also scored for Brewster Bulldogs. Suffolk Juniors additionally got points from Joseph Bizzaro, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Geraci, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. More assists for Suffolk Juniors came via Alex Posillico, Peter Gawrychowski, and Nicholas Falino, who contributed one a piece and Andrew Dellicicchi and Daniel Lore, who each chipped in two.

Zachary Shapiro recorded 23 saves for Brewster Bulldogs. Brewster Bulldogs registered two goals on five power play opportunities. Suffolk Juniors' Anthony Pupplo stopped 22 shots out of the 28 that he faced. Suffolk Juniors registered zero goals on five power play opportunities.
