Christoph Mutschin recorded a shutout against the Frederick Freeze as the NY AppleCore Minor B picked up a 2-0 win. NY AppleCore was paced by Jonathan Kaszuba, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Kaszuba scored 11:03 into the second period to make the score 1-0 NY AppleCore. Andrew DeAngelis assisted on the tally. The Minor B put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Frederick to score on any of its three power plays. NY AppleCore's defense was surprisingly good.
