Henderson leads Brewster over Jersey Wildcats, 8-5

Sean Henderson was all over the ice for the Brewster Bulldogs, as he tallied two goals and two assists in Brewster's 8-5 win over Jersey Wildcats.

Henderson's tallies came at 10:51 into the first period to make the score 1-1 and 9:18 into the third to make the score 7-4 Brewster.

The Bulldogs made Jersey Wildcats' goalies to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, totaling 31 shots and forcing 23 saves. Gennaro Anzevino made 12 stops and Grant Perry made 11. Brewster stifled Jersey Wildcats' power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Bulldogs found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. Brewster averages 3.2 goals per game.

Brewster also got points from Kevin McGee, who also racked up two goals and one assist and Lukas Znosko, who also registered one goal and two assists. Brett Barry also scored for Brewster. More assists for Brewster came via Brad Alexander, who had one, Peter Petrino, who had two, and Francesco Sherding and Michael Benincasa, who each chipped in three.

The Bulldogs were unable to stop Jersey Wildcats from sending pucks towards the net, and Jersey Wildcats eventually piled up 46 shots on goal.

Jersey Wildcats was led by Edward Ziegenfuss, who had two goals and one assist. Ziegenfuss scored the first of his two goals at 5:21 into the third period to make the score 6-3 Brewster. Alexander Wizna picked up the assist. Ziegenfuss' next tally made the score 7-5 Brewster with 9:59 left in the third period. Erik Andersson provided the assist. Jersey Wildcats additionally got points from Geoffrey Liter, who also grabbed one goal and one assist and Andersson, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Jersey Wildcats also got a goal from Jack Green as well. Other players who recorded assists for Jersey Wildcats were Cory DeCosta, who had two and William Hoer and Lucas Moser, who contributed one a piece.

Conor Bunyan rejected 41 shots on goal for Brewster. The Bulldogs incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Jersey Wildcats incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
