Behind a great game by George Splichal, who had two goals and one assist, the Yellowstone Quake defeated the Billings Bulls, 7-3. Splichal found the back of the net 18:31 into the second period to make the score 4-3 Yellowstone and again while 9:32 into the third to make the score 6-3 Yellowstone.Yellowstone kept Billings' goalie busy throughout the game, and Nic Wackerly made 46 saves on 53 shots. The Quake surpassed their usual scoring output this season. This season, Yellowstone averages 4.9 goals per contest. Yellowstone also had goals scored by Orri Haman, who had two and Anthony Leong, Tommy Toohey, and Brandon Busse, who each put in one. More assists for Yellowstone came via Tanner Fricke, Brandon Smith, Kyle Sandera, Michael Berens, Jimmy Tich, Mitchell Fehd, and Trent Carter, who contributed one a piece and Oli Jansson and Sam Basich, who each chipped in two.
