Gillette holds on for 5-4 win against Billings

The Billings Bulls tried their best to erase a two-goal deficit, but the Gillette Wild would not be denied the victory and hung on to win, 5-4.
Dillinger had two goals to lead the Wild to victory.
The Gillette penalty box was a popular destination as the team totaled eight minors and one major for 31 minutes in penalty time. The Wild surpassed its season average of 21.0 penalty minutes per game. Gillette kept the Bulls' goalie busy throughout the game, and Nic Wackerly made 53 saves on 58 shots. The Wild was effective with a man advantage, and put in three goals while on the power play.
Gillette additionally got points from Taylor Motsinger, who also grabbed one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Gillette also got a goal from Alex King as well. Other players who recorded assists for Gillette were Ronnie Wilshusen and Matt Rose, who contributed one a piece and Moco Willis and Tyler Cavan, who each chipped in two.
Gillette was unable to stop Billings from sending pucks towards the net, and the Bulls eventually piled up 37 shots on goal.
