Chris Andre tallied one point to lead the Helena Bighorns to a 5-2 victory over the Missoula Maulers.

Helena forced Missoula's netminders to work in net, ripping 42 shots and forcing 37 saves. Cody Janzen made 28 stops and Mckinlee Baum made nine.

Helena additionally got points from Austin Loes, who also racked up one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Helena also got a goal from Dylan Webster as well. Other players who recorded assists for Helena were Ben Henne, who had two and Christian Axelson, Parker Olson, Wyatt Winfield, Devin Smith, Logan Hawgood, and Cody Blom, who contributed one a piece.

The Maulers could not produce up to they normal offensive output. Missoula averages 4.4 goals per game.

The Maulers were helped by Anders Nord, who registered one goal. Nord scored on the power play 3:27 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Missoula had gained a power play chance when Blom was whistled for elbowing. Dylan Chase picked up the assist. Tyler Zandhuisen also scored for Missoula. More assists for Missoula came via Paigg Maul, Donovan Mattfeldt, and Will Stawinski, who each chipped in one.

Jett Salinas recorded 24 saves for the Bighorns. Helena incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. The Maulers totaled 17 minutes in penalty time with six minors and one major and went 2-for-7 on the power play.
