The Bozeman Icedogs survived a determined comeback attempt by the Gillette Wild on the way to a 3-2 win.

Bozeman took a 3-1 lead during the third period, only to have Gillette storm back on a Taylor Motsinger goal 15:00 into the third period to pull to one goal down.

Jason Henry was all over the ice for the Icedogs, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Henry scored the first of his two goals at 10:07 into the third period to make the score 2-0 Bozeman. Jonathon Benavides provided the assist. Henry's next tally made the score Bozeman with 6:21 left in the third period. A slashing penalty on Brandon Castleberry had put Bozeman on the power play. Brett Barezewski assisted on the tally.

Tyler Elson also scored for Bozeman. In addition, Bozeman received assists from Trent Carter, who had one.

The Wild's offense operated below they season average. Gillette averages 4.8 goals per game. The Wild kept the Icedogs' goalie busy throughout the game, and Jude Hall made 51 saves on 53 shots.

Gillette also got a goal from Trent Dillinger as well. More assists for Gillette came via Boris Knyazev, who had one.

Bozeman totaled 17 minutes in penalty time with six minors and one major and went 2-for-5 on the power play. Gillette's Nick Vittori stopped 26 shots out of the 29 that he faced. The Wild totaled 17 minutes in penalty time with six minors and one major and went 1-for-5 on the power play.
