The Helena Bighorns relied on the scoring touch of Corbin Belling, who netted two goals, to beat the Great Falls Americans, 6-1.

Belling's tallies came at 49 seconds into the first period to make the score 1-0 Helena and 4:38 into the first to make the score 2-0 Helena.

Helena kept Great Falls' goalie busy throughout the game, and Erik Powell made 54 saves on 60 shots.

Helena additionally got points from John Tesarek, who also tallied one goal and one assist and Ben Henne, who also had one goal and one assist. Helena also got a goal from Jacob Wolter as well. More assists for Helena came via Parker Olson, who had one and Brandon Rumble, Ryan Alves, Dylan Webster, and Wyatt Winfield, who contributed two a piece.

The Americans found themselves stymied offensively, and got off a mere 12 shots against the Bighorns' defense.

Alek Lazarski made 11 saves for Helena on 12 shots. The Bighorns incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Great Falls incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
