The Billings Bulls' Jarrett Stark had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 4-1 win over the Great Falls Americans. Stark's tallies came on the power play at 10:34 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Billings and 20 seconds into the second to make the score 3-1 Billings.Billings pulled out the victory even though it was hit with 38 penalty minutes. The Bulls forced Americans' goalies to work hard to keep the puck out of the net, finishing with 32 shots and forcing 28 saves. Evan Hauser made six stops and Erik Powell made 22. Billings excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in nine chances. Billings additionally got points from Luke Bing, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Trey Robillard also scored for Billings. Other players who recorded assists for Billings were Nick Rizzo, who had two and Adam Wikingsson, Stephen Thompson, and ryan picicci, who each chipped in one. Great Falls was forced to rely heavily on their penalty kill unit throughout the game, as it racked up 36 penalty minutes. The Americans were led by Nate Bastian, who scored the team's only goal. Bastian scored 7:05 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Great Falls. Billy Grillo picked up the assist. Nic Wackerly made 22 saves for the Bulls on 23 shots. Billings registered two goals on four power play opportunities.
