The Helena Bighorns' Ben Henne scored 1:53 into overtime to beat the Yellowstone Quake, 3-2 (OT).

Henne had a great game for Helena, netting two goals.

The Bighorns could not produce up to they normal offensive output. Helena averages 7.4 goals per game. The Bighorns kept Yellowstone's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jared Schletty made 66 saves on 69 shots.

Corbin Belling also scored for Helena. Other players who recorded assists for Helena were Dylan Webster, Kyle Baker, and Logan Hawgood, who each chipped in one.

The Quake stifled Helena's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. Yellowstone was held below its usual level of production. The Quake put an average of 4.5 pucks into the net per game.

Yellowstone was helped by George Splichal, who had one goal. Splichal scored 17:35 into the third period to make the score 2-2. James Pyle picked up the assist. Yellowstone also got a goal from Michael Berens as well. In addition, Yellowstone received assists from Orri Haman, Brandon Busse, and Jimmy Tich, who contributed one a piece.

The Bighorns' Jett Salinas stopped 26 shots out of the 28 that he faced. Helena incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Quake incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
