In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the Billings Bulls escaped with a 5-4 victory over the Bozeman Icedogs. Each team kept the other at bay throughout the game, and Stephen Thompson secured the win for Billings with a goal in the third period. Jarrett Stark had two goals and one assist to lead the Bulls. Stark scored the first of his two goals at 16:57 into the first period to make the score 2-2. Thompson provided the assist.
