The Gillette Wild's penalty kill was superb, as Gillette survived multiple penalties to beat the Great Falls Americans, 6-3. The Wild bested their season scoring average. Gillette has scored at the pace of 3.7 goals per game during the current campaign. The Wild were led by Taylor Motsinger, who registered two goals and two assists. Motsinger scored the first of his two goals at 3:01 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Gillette. Connor Hicks assisted on the tally.
