Michael Berens lifted the Yellowstone Quake to a 14-1 victory with a hat trick against the Bozeman Icedogs. Berens got on the scoresheet 15:49 into the first period. He then added goals at 2:44 into the second and at 10:13 into the second.Yellowstone stifled Bozeman's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Quake's offense rang up 36 shots on the Icedogs' net. Yellowstone found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. The Quake average 4.9 goals per game. Yellowstone's defensemen played an important role in the offense, chipping in two goals. Yellowstone also got points from Tanner Fricke, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Orri Haman, who also registered one goal and five assists, Jimmy Tich, who also grabbed one goal and two assists, Sam Basich, who also had two goals and one assist, and Chris Andre, who also finished with four goals and one assist. Andrew Lansing also scored for Yellowstone. More assists for Yellowstone came via George Splichal, who had three, Anthony Leong and Cameron Hardiek, who contributed one a piece, and TJ Lozier and Josh Neumann, who each chipped in two. Sean Flannigan made 16 saves for the Quake on 17 shots. Yellowstone incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Bozeman's Jude Hull stopped 22 shots out of the 36 that he faced. The Icedogs incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
