Yellowstone beats Billings 4-0 as Zangs gains shutout

Trevor Zangs recorded a shutout against Billings as Yellowstone picked up a 4-0 win.

Yellowstone was paced by Josh Neumann, who racked up one goal. Neumann scored 6:13 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Yellowstone. Michael Berens provided the assist.

Yellowstone put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Billings to score on any of its three power plays. Yellowstone kept Billings' goalie busy throughout the game, and Kyle Williams made 42 saves on 46 shots.

Yellowstone also got points from Anthony Leong, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Orri Haman also scored for Yellowstone. Other players who recorded assists for Yellowstone were Tanner Fricke, George Splichal, Brandon Busse, Mitchell Fehd, and Bryan Standly, who each chipped in one.

Zangs recorded 30 saves for Yellowstone. Yellowstone incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Billings incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
