Billings downs Great Falls, 2-0

Adam Wikingsson tallied two points to lead the Billings Bulls to a 2-0 victory over the Great Falls Americans.

Billings put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Great Falls to score on any of its five power plays. The Bulls' defensive play was more effective than usual against the Americans. Billings gives up 2.9 goals on average per game. The Bulls forced Great Falls goalie Evan Hauser to work between the pipes, taking 35 shots.

Billings also got a goal from Luke Bing as well. More assists for Billings came via Dexter Nealy and Jarrett Stark, who contributed one a piece.

The Americans' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Billings power plays. Great Falls did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Americans average 2.8 goals per game.

Nic Wackerly rejected 20 shots on goal for Billings. The Bulls ended with 19 minutes in penalty time with seven minors and one major. Evan Hauser made 33 saves for Great Falls on 35 shots. The Americans ended with 19 minutes in penalty time with seven minors and one major.
