Kyle Baker netted a hat trick to lead the Helena Bighorns over the Bozeman Icedogs, 15-0. Baker's first goal came 1:43 into the first period. He then added goals at 17:19 into the first and at 13:15 into the third.Helena led 6-0 after the opening frame the first period and maintained a healthy margin after. The Bighorns forced Bozeman goalie Jude Hull to work between the pipes, taking 62 shots. Helena bested its season scoring average. The Bighorns average 8.1 goals per game. Helena took advantage of the Icedogs' penalties, tallying three goals off of four power play opportunities. Helena also got points from Theo Campe, who also grabbed one goal and one assist, Danny Fazio, who also finished with one goal and one assist, Dylan Webster, who also had three goals and two assists, Christian Axelson, who also finished with two goals and three assists, Corbin Belling, who also grabbed one goal and three assists, Ben Henne, who also registered one goal and three assists, and Jacob Wolter, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Helena also got a goal from Matt Mohar as well. More assists for Helena came via Kevin Choi, who had three, Brandon Rumble, Damon Hanson, Wyatt Winfield, Logan Hawgood, Sean Stahlnecker, and Troy Turpin, who each chipped in one, and Nik Manory and John Petersson, who contributed two a piece. Bozeman's offense was handcuffed by the Bighorns' defensive play, and the Icedogs managed only five shots on goal during the game. Turpin rejected five shots on goal for Helena. The Bighorns incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. Hull recorded 47 saves for Bozeman. The Icedogs incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
