Cassidy Bruni was all over the ice for Amherstview, as he tallied two goals and one assist in the win. Bruni scored the first of his two goals at 1:33 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Amherstview. Ryan Fletcher assisted on the tally. Bruni's next tally made the score 7-0 Amherstview with 11:51 left in the third period. Brody Taylor picked up the assist.

The Jets managed to stay out of the box better than usual, finishing with one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Amherstview finished below its season average of 17.0 penalty minutes per game. The Jets kept Napanee's goalie busy throughout the game, and Mike Brogee made 40 saves on 47 shots. Amherstview surpassed its usual scoring output this season. The Jets have scored at the pace of 4.1 goals per game during the current campaign.

Amherstview also got points from Dan Chadwick, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Amherstview also had goals scored by Nic Pascoal, who had two and Mark Christensen and Alex Wilson, who scored one goal each.
