A hat trick by Levi George was the highlight in Pirates' 5-1 win against the Campbellford Rebels. George got on the scoresheet 7:16 into the second period. He then added goals at 17:29 into the second and at 1:59 into the third.The Picton Pirates were led by goalie Andrew Pearson, who finished with 27 saves while allowing one goal. Pearson managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 1.77 prior to the game. Campbellford's power play was ineffective against Picton's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded. The Pirates put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Rebels to score on any of their seven power plays. Orton scored short handed 12:54 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Campbellford was on a disadvantage when jeremy dorghty went off the ice for holding.
