A hat trick by Levi George was the highlight in Pirates' 5-1 win against the Campbellford Rebels.

The Picton Pirates were led by goalie Andrew Pearson, who finished with 27 saves while allowing one goal. Pearson managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 1.77 prior to the game.

Campbellford's power play was ineffective against Picton's penalty kill, which allowed zero goals while shorthanded.

The Pirates put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow the Rebels to score on any of their seven power plays. Picton forced Campbellford goalie Cole Mahoney to work between the pipes, taking 48 shots.

Picton also got a goal from Cole Bolton as well. In addition, Picton received assists from Brandon Peever, Jack Davison, Geoff Cleminson, Evan Greer, Mitchell Smith, Ryan Sizer, and Tyler Kearns, who contributed one a piece.

The Rebels were held below their usual level of production. Campbellford puts an average of 4.7 pucks into the net per game.

The Rebels were led by Nick Orton, who scored the team's only goal. Orton scored short handed 12:54 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Campbellford was on a disadvantage when jeremy dorghty went off the ice for holding.

The Pirates incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Cole Mahoney made 43 saves for the Rebels on 48 shots. Campbellford incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
