The Napanee Raiders were firing on all cylinders against the Deseronto Storm, and when the final buzzer sounded Raiders emerged with an 8-2 win.

Bud Norris had one goal and two assists to lead Napanee. Norris scored on the power play 8:10 into the second period to make the score 6-1 Napanee. The Raiders earned a power play opportunity when Brett Maracle was put in the box for cross checking. Zach Knapp-Hermer provided the assist.

Napanee's penalty kill excelled, as the Raiders gave up zero goals despite allowing seven power plays.

Napanee stifled Deseronto's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man. The Raiders kept the Storm's goalie busy throughout the game, and Dan Corrigan made 32 saves on 40 shots. Napanee found the back of the net more times than it usually has this season. The Raiders average 3.3 goals per game.

Napanee additionally got points from Knapp-Hermer, who also had one goal and one assist, Jesse Lloyd, who also registered one goal and one assist, and Ryan Thistlethwaite, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Napanee included Donny Emmons, who had two and Luke Emmons and Blade Grigg, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Napanee were Andre Frappier and Jayden Adams, who contributed one a piece and Chris Doyle and Colin Childerhose, who each chipped in two.

Deseronto struggled to stay out of the sin bin throughout the game as it finished the game with 24 penalty minutes for five opposing power plays.

The Storm were led by Jordan Cannons, who finished with one goal. Cannons scored 16:20 into the third period to make the score 8-2 Napanee. Chandler McDougal assisted on the tally. Deseronto also got a goal from Brett Bateman as well. In addition, Deseronto received assists from Jesse Burtch and Corey Prince, who contributed one a piece.

Kyle Copeland recorded 27 saves for Napanee. The Raiders incurred 40 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
