Napanee falls to Amherstview in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

Jake Hulton gave the Amherstview Jets a 3-2 (OT) victory over the Napanee Raiders when he scored 2:57 into the extra period.

Amherstview overcame a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Jets fell behind 2-0 after a goal by Napanee's Luke Emmons at 11:40 in the second period. Amherstview tied things up at 2-2 on a goal by Brandon Gilmour at 13:21 in the third period.

Hulton was all over the ice for the Jets, as he finished with two goals in the win.

Amherstview's offense rang up 47 shots on the Raiders' net.

Amherstview additionally got points from Gilmour, who also racked up one goal and one assist. In addition, Amherstview received assists from Brody Taylor, who had two and Sam Paxton and Liam Vanburen, who each chipped in one.

The Jets were unable to stop Napanee from sending pucks towards the net, and the Raiders eventually piled up 48 shots on goal.

Napanee was helped by Donny Emmons, who registered one goal. Emmons scored 15:44 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Napanee. Ryan Thistlethwaite picked up the assist. Other players who recorded assists for Napanee were Jayden Adams and Matt Horton, who contributed one a piece.

James DAndrea made 46 saves for Amherstview on 48 shots. The Jets incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Raiders' Mike Brogee stopped 44 shots out of the 47 that he faced. Napanee incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors.
