Roman Ammirato tallied two points to lead the Hawkesbury Hawks to a 3-1 victory over the Smiths Falls Bears.

Hawkesbury also got a goal from Zach Car as well. In addition, Hawkesbury received assists from Yanik Laliberte, who had two and Mathieu Galipeau, Tristen Elie, and Justin Villeneuve, who contributed one a piece.

Smiths Falls put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Hawkesbury to score on any of its five power plays. The Bears were held below their usual level of production. Smiths Falls puts an average of 3.7 pucks into the net per game.
