Roman Ammirato tallied two points to lead the Hawkesbury Hawks to a 3-1 victory over the Smiths Falls Bears. Hawkesbury also got a goal from Zach Car as well. In addition, Hawkesbury received assists from Yanik Laliberte, who had two and Mathieu Galipeau, Tristen Elie, and Justin Villeneuve, who contributed one a piece. Smiths Falls put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Hawkesbury to score on any of its five power plays.
