Gloucester squeaks by Brockville, 3-2

The game between the Gloucester Rangers and the Brockville Braves was tight through all 60 minutes, but in the end Gloucester emerged with a 3-2 win.

No lead was more than one goal during the contest, and the winning goal was scored by Patrick White at 1:14 of the third period.

The Rangers were paced by White, who had one goal and one assist.

Gloucester's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Brockville power plays.

Maxim Cote also scored for Gloucester. More assists for Gloucester came via Matt Rosebrook, who had two and Andrew Rossy, Dean Derouchie, and Samuel Quaranta, who each chipped in one.

Brockville was led by Ben Blasko, who racked up one goal and one assist. Blasko scored 17:43 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Griffen Molino provided the assist. Brockville also got a goal from Zach Todd as well. In addition, Brockville received assists from Nathan Todd, who had two.

Doug Johnston recorded 28 saves for the Rangers. Gloucester incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The Braves' Matthew Jenkins stopped 21 shots out of the 24 that he faced. Brockville incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors. The Braves ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Molino was ejected from the game.
