Ottawa downs Gloucester, 2-1

Ryan Collins registered one point to lead the Ottawa Senators to a 2-1 victory over the Gloucester Rangers.

Ottawa's offense rang up 40 shots on Gloucester's net.

Ottawa also got a goal from Chris King as well. Other players who recorded assists for Ottawa were Geoffrey Lawson, Justin Charbonneau, Chad Millett, and Michael Evelyn, who contributed one a piece.

The Rangers were led by Patrick White, who scored the team's only goal. White scored on the power play 11:06 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Gloucester. Gloucester had gotten the advantage when the Senators' Evelyn was sent off for interference. Eric Ferguson assisted on the tally.

Alexandre Savard-Belanger made 20 saves for Ottawa on 21 shots. The Senators incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Dylan BrindAmour rejected 38 shots on goal for the Rangers. Gloucester incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
