The Smiths Falls Bears survived a determined comeback attempt by the Kemptville 73s on the way to a 4-2 win. Smiths Falls made the score 4-1 on a goal by Jesse Lussier at 3:14 in the third period, and Kemptville got as close as 4-2 when Alex Row scored 13:24 into the third period. The Bears were sparked by Michael Buonincontri, who tallied one goal and one assist. Buonincontri scored 2:12 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Smiths Falls. Chris Maniccia assisted on the tally. Smiths Falls' offense rang up 51 shots on the 73s' net. Smiths Falls additionally got points from Maniccia, who also registered one goal and one assist. Smiths Falls also got a goal from Nic Marchand as well. In addition, Smiths Falls received assists from Blaine Byron, Yannick Crete, and Jeffrey Carroll, who contributed two a piece. Kemptville kept the Bears' goalie busy throughout the game, and Jimmy Howe made 37 saves on 39 shots. Jacob Smith also scored for Kemptville.
