Kelly Summers registered one point to lead the Carleton Place Canadians to a 5-2 victory over the Gloucester Rangers. Carleton Place forced Gloucester goalie Dylan BrindAmour to work between the pipes, taking 39 shots. Carleton Place also got points from Jide Idowu, who also racked up one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Jackson Howe also scored for Carleton Place. More assists for Carleton Place came via Brock Edwards, who had two and Devin Campbell, Luke Edwards, Luke Martin, and Evan Peterson, who each chipped in one. The Rangers were led by Patrick White, who finished with one goal and one assist. White scored on the power play 15:41 into the first period to make the score 1-1. A cross checking penalty on Campbell had put Gloucester on the power play. Shane Topf picked up the assist. Gloucester also got a goal from Matt Rosebrook as well. In addition, Gloucester received assists from Maxim Cote, who had one. Brendan Oneill made 25 saves for the Canadians on 27 shots. Carleton Place incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. The Rangers' BrindAmour stopped 34 shots out of the 39 that he faced. Gloucester incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
