The Kemptville 73s had trouble finding ways to stop the Carleton Place Canadians, which beat 73s, 6-1. Alex Globke was all over the ice for Carleton Place, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Globke scored 15:32 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Carleton Place. Kevin Dufour assisted on the tally. Kemptville's power play was ineffective against the Canadians' penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded. Carleton Place forced the 73s goalie Jacob Tugnutt to work between the pipes, taking 33 shots. The Canadians' goal total was higher than their season average.
