Huge game by Cote boosts Gloucester over Pembroke, 8-4

Maxim Cote was all over the ice for the Gloucester Rangers, as he tallied two goals and one assist in Gloucester's 8-4 win over the Pembroke Lumber Kings.

Cote's tallies came at 18:25 into the first period to make the score 3-2 Gloucester and 14:13 into the second to make the score 4-2 Gloucester.

The Rangers kept Pembroke's goalie busy throughout the game, and Andy Munroe made 35 saves on 43 shots. Gloucester surpassed its usual scoring output this season. This season, the Rangers average 2.8 goals per contest. The defensemen of Gloucester were also effective in the Lumber Kings' zone, and came away with three goals.

Gloucester also got points from Dylan Giberson, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Others who scored for Gloucester included Matt Rosebrook, who had three and Keegan Rowe and Eric Snedden, who each put in one. Other players who recorded assists for Gloucester were Andrew Rossy, Austin Romzek, Samuel Quaranta, and Stevie Ray Adams, who each chipped in one and Colton Keuhl, Eric Ferguson, Patrick White, and Shane Topf, who contributed two a piece.

Pembroke was helped by Ben Dalpe, who racked up one goal. Dalpe scored 15:59 into the third period to make the score 6-4 Gloucester. Sam Gleason assisted on the tally. Pembroke additionally got points from Brendan Mcguire, who also registered one goal and one assist and Jordan Boucher-Gould, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. Derek Diaz also scored for Pembroke. More assists for Pembroke came via Stephen Hrehoriak, who had one and Emilio Audi, who had two.

Dylan BrindAmour rejected 24 shots on goal for the Rangers. Gloucester incurred six minutes in penalty time with three minors. The Lumber Kings incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors.
