A stellar performance between the pipes by Andrew Pikul helped the Brockville Braves defeat the Carleton Place Canadians, 4-1. Brockville's Pikul was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 31 saves and let only one puck past him. Pikul certainly lowered his goals against average, which was 2.59 entering the contest. The Braves pulled out the victory even though they were hit with 12 penalty minutes. Brockville was held back by its power play unit, which tallied one goal on nine chances. The Braves were led by Chris Roll, who registered one goal and two assists. Roll scored 14:01 into the third period to make the score 3-1 Brockville. Zach Todd assisted on the tally. Brockville additionally got points from David Ferreira, who also tallied one goal and one assist. Brockville also got a goal from Ben Blasko as well. Other players who recorded assists for Brockville were Hayden Hulton, Jay Kourkoulis, and Ryan Walter, who contributed one a piece. Carleton Place did not reach the goal total it has come to expect this season. The Canadians put an average of 3.6 pucks into the net per game. Brockville was unable to stop Carleton Place from sending pucks towards the net, and the Canadians eventually piled up 32 shots on goal. Carleton Place was led by Brock Edwards, who scored the team's only goal. Edwards scored on the power play 1:49 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Luke Edwards provided the assist. Brendan Oneill recorded 15 saves for the Canadians. Carleton Place incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
