Carleton Place downs Pembroke, 6-3

Evan Peterson racked up two points to lead the Carleton Place Canadians to a 6-3 victory over the Pembroke Lumber Kings.

Carleton Place's offense rang up 42 shots on Pembroke's net. The Canadians' goal total was higher than their season average. This season, Carleton Place averages 3.8 goals per contest.

Carleton Place also got points from Christian Weidauer, who also registered one goal and one assist. Carleton Place also had goals scored by Alex Frere, who had two and Alex Globke and Luke Martin, who each put in one. In addition, Carleton Place received assists from Kelly Summers, who had two and Jim Pearson, Kevin Dufour, Lucas Gonu, Garrett Moore, and Brock Edwards, who each chipped in one.

The Lumber Kings were held back by their power play unit, which tallied two goals on nine chances.

Pembroke was helped by Liam Biard, who had one goal. Biard scored 19:10 into the first period to make the score 2-2. Patrice Wren provided the assist. Charlie Connell also scored for Pembroke. Other players who recorded assists for Pembroke were Brendan Mcguire, Emilio Audi, Ben Dalpe, and Keegan Harper, who contributed one a piece.

Brendan Oneill rejected 25 shots on goal for the Canadians. Carleton Place incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors. Darren Smith recorded 36 saves for the Lumber Kings. Pembroke incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
