Huge game by Walsh boosts Kanata over Gloucester, 6-3

The Kanata Stallions' Fabian Walsh had a big offensive game, scoring two goals and contributing two assists in his team's 6-3 win over the Gloucester Rangers.

Walsh found the back of the net short handed 4:56 into the third period to make the score 4-2 Kanata and again while short handed 11:10 into the third to make the score 5-2 Kanata.

Kanata's offense rang up 37 shots on Gloucester's net. The Stallions outdid their season average for goals scored. Kanata averages 3.3 goals per game.

Kanata additionally got points from Derian Plouffe, who also racked up two goals and one assist. Kanata also got a goal from Joe Breslin as well. Other players who recorded assists for Kanata were Curtis Watson, Reid Murphy, Devin Fullum, Braedan Moffatt, Alex Stothart, and Brandon Petrie, who each chipped in one.

The Stallions were unable to stop the Rangers from sending pucks towards the net, and Gloucester eventually piled up 35 shots on goal.

Brandon Lane made 32 saves for Kanata on 35 shots. The Stallions incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Dylan BrindAmour rejected 31 shots on goal for the Rangers. Gloucester incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors.
