Pembroke outlasts Gloucester, 3-2Earl Armstrong Arena Fri, Dec 07, 2012 Story by Narrative Science.
In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the Pembroke Lumber Kings escaped with a 3-2 victory over the Gloucester Rangers. Pembroke gained the winning advantage on a goal by Jordan Boucher-Gould 19:32 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer. The Lumber Kings were paced by Boucher-Gould, who had one goal. Gloucester was unable to stop Pembroke from sending pucks towards the net, and the Lumber Kings eventually piled up 40 shots on goal. Pembroke additionally got points from Liam Biard, who also registered one goal and one assist to lead the team in points. Pembroke also got a goal from Stephen Hrehoriak as well. In addition, Pembroke received assists from Emilio Audi, Jordan Larson, and Keegan Harper, who contributed one a piece. The Rangers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. Gloucester was helped by Dean Derouchie, who grabbed one goal. Derouchie scored 7:07 into the first period to make the score 2-1 Gloucester. Samuel Quaranta picked up the assist. Carl-Philippe Ouimet also scored for Gloucester. Other players who recorded assists for Gloucester were Patrick White, Shane Topf, and Stevie Ray Adams, who each chipped in one. Darren Smith made 26 saves for Pembroke on 28 shots. The Lumber Kings incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Dylan BrindAmour rejected 37 shots on goal for the Rangers. Gloucester incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
