In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the Hawkesbury Hawks escaped with a 4-3 victory over the Smiths Falls Bears.

Hawkesbury gained the winning advantage on a goal by Holden Anderson 13:01 into the third period and hung on until final buzzer.

The Hawks' penalty kill excelled, as Hawkesbury gave up zero goals despite allowing six power plays.
