Patrick Martin recorded a shutout against the Cornwall Colts as the Smiths Falls Bears picked up a 5-0 win.

Smiths Falls was sparked by Patrick Sexton, who grabbed one goal and one assist. Sexton scored 6:02 into the third period to make the score 1-0 Smiths Falls. Tyler Akeson assisted on the tally.

The Bears was steadier on the defensive front than they have been for much of this season. Smiths Falls averages 3.0 goals allowed per game. Cornwall was unable to stop the Bears from sending pucks towards the net, and Smiths Falls eventually piled up 35 shots on goal.

Smiths Falls also got points from Connor McLaren, who also had one goal and one assist. Smiths Falls also had goals scored by Jeffrey Carroll, who had one and Daniele Disipio, who had two.
