Guerriero, Hawkesbury blank Nepean, 3-0

Carmine Guerriero made 32 saves to complete the shutout and led the Hawkesbury Hawks to a 3-0 win against the Nepean Raiders.

Hawkesbury was led by Zach Car, who registered one goal. Car scored 12:48 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Hawkesbury. Tristen Elie picked up the assist.

The Hawks stifled Nepean's power play, and did not give up a single goal while down a man.

Hawkesbury additionally got points from Antonio Roumeliotis, who also grabbed one goal and one assist. Shane Topf also scored for Hawkesbury. In addition, Hawkesbury received assists from William Plamondon and Stefano Momesso, who contributed one a piece.

The Raiders did not reach the goal total they have come to expect this season. Nepean averages 4.2 goals per game. Hawkesbury was unable to stop the Raiders from sending pucks towards the net, and Nepean eventually piled up 32 shots on goal.
