The Kemptville 73s had trouble finding ways to stop the Cornwall Colts, which beat 73s, 5-1.

Cornwall's Jordan Piccolino was a brick wall in net, as he came up with 25 saves and let only one puck past him. Piccolino managed to improve on his goals against average, which stood at 3.39 prior to the game.

The Colts were paced by Tanner Spink, who registered one goal and one assist. Spink scored 16:36 into the second period to make the score 2-0 Cornwall.

Cornwall kept Kemptville's goalie busy throughout the game, and Billy Cooper made 37 saves on 42 shots.

Cornwall also got a goal from Michael Pontarelli as well. In addition, Cornwall received assists from Andrew Ming, Sean King, Marly Quince, Billy Ulrick, Ryan Kruss, and Stephen Johnson, who contributed one a piece.

The Colts incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. The 73s incurred 20 minutes in penalty time with 10 minors.
