Michael Pontarelli gave the Cornwall Colts a 3-2 (OT) victory over the Cumberland Grads when he scored 1:41 into the extra period.

Pontarelli was all over the ice for Cornwall, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win.

The Colts' offense rang up 63 shots on Cumberland's net.

Cornwall also got a goal from Alexandre Gendron as well. In addition, Cornwall received assists from Stephen Johnson, who had one and Roman Ammirato, who had two.

The Grads kept Cornwall's goalie busy throughout the game, and Jordan Piccolino made 38 saves on 40 shots.

Cumberland was helped by Mark Golberg, who tallied one goal. Golberg scored on the power play 2:29 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Cumberland. The Grads had gained a power play chance when Trent Durocher was whistled for high sticking. David Higgs provided the assist. Cumberland also got points from Nick Martin, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Other players who recorded assists for Cumberland were Zach Rodier, who had one.

The Colts incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Reilly Turner made 60 saves for Cumberland on 63 shots. The Grads incurred 18 minutes in penalty time with nine minors.
