Eric Clitsome had one point to lead the Cumberland Grads to a 2-1 victory over the Hawkesbury Hawks. Referees had their hands full with a major incident at 17:49 into the first period. Four fighting penalties were dished out along with two game misconducts. Cumberland's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on five Hawkesbury power plays. Cumberland also got a goal from Mark Golberg as well. More assists for Cumberland came via Philippe Paquette and Sean Naish, who contributed one a piece. Hawkesbury was led by Antonio Roumeliotis, who scored the team's only goal. Roumeliotis scored 14:12 into the second period to make the score 1-1. Brandon Bussey assisted on the tally. The Grads' Devan Tremblay stopped 20 shots out of the 21 that he faced. Cumberland totaled 19 minutes in penalty time with seven minors and one major and went 1-for-6 on the power play. For the Grads, Trevor Packard was ejected from the game. Carmine Guerriero made 28 saves for the Hawks on 30 shots. Hawkesbury ended with 21 minutes in penalty time with eight minors and one major. The Hawks ran into serious disciplinary problems during the contest, and Ryan Patulli was ejected from the game.
