The Pembroke Lumber Kings were firing on all cylinders against the Brockville Braves, and when the final buzzer sounded Lumber Kings emerged with a 5-1 win.

Pembroke was led by Jordan Larson, who had one goal. Larson scored 16:35 into the first period to make the score 2-0 Pembroke. Ryan Hunter assisted on the tally.

Brockville was unable to stop the Lumber Kings from sending pucks towards the net, and Pembroke eventually piled up 36 shots on goal. The Lumber Kings had trouble converting on the power play advantage, managing just one goal on nine chances.

Pembroke also got points from Brian Hennessey, who also finished with one goal and one assist. Pembroke also had goals scored by Ben Dalpe, who had one and Brendan Mcguire, who had two. More assists for Pembroke came via Keegan Harper, who had two and Stephen Hrehoriak, Philippe Drouin, Emilio Audi, Patrice Wren, Timmy Moore, and Tyler Gaudet, who each chipped in one.

The Braves' offense operated below they season average. Brockville puts an average of 4.0 pucks into the net per game.

The Braves were led by Shane Riddell, who scored the team's only goal. Riddell scored on the power play 2:42 into the second period to make the score 3-1 Pembroke. Brockville earned a power play opportunity when JJ Hart was put in the box for high sticking. Ben Blasko picked up the assist.

Darren Smith recorded 19 saves for Pembroke. The Lumber Kings incurred four minutes in penalty time with two minors. Matthew Jenkins made 31 saves for the Braves on 36 shots. Brockville incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors.
