In a game where neither team could get a cushion, the St. Louis Bandits escaped with a 5-3 victory over the Springfield Jr. Blues. St. Louis gained the winning advantage on a goal by Luc Boby 13:23 into the second period and hung on until final buzzer. The win by the Bandits clinched the best of five series at 3-1. St. Louis was helped by Greg Johnson, who grabbed one goal. Johnson scored on the power play 19:29 into the second period to make the score 4-2 St. Louis. The Bandits had gained a power play chance when Kyle Cook was whistled for tripping. Joe Kalisz picked up the assist.
