Max Milosek made 31 saves to complete the shutout and led the Port Huron Fighting Falcons to a 4-0 win against the Kalamazoo Jr. K Wings. The win by Port Huron clinched the best of five series at 3-1. Easton Powers was all over the ice for the Fighting Falcons, as he tallied one goal and two assists in the win. Powers scored 14:19 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Port Huron. Ian Miller assisted on the tally. The defense for Port Huron played an important role offensively, racking up 12 shots on goal. Port Huron additionally got points from Miller, who also racked up one goal and one assist. Rick DeRosa also scored for Port Huron. In addition, Port Huron received assists from Joseph Pizza, who had one and Sean Gammage, who had two. Kalamazoo forced the Fighting Falcons goalie Milosek to work between the pipes, taking 31 shots. The Jr. K Wings were led by Matt Wurst, who took three shots. Port Huron totaled 20 minutes in penalty time with five minors and two majors and went 1-for-6 on the power play. Alex Okicki made 25 saves for Kalamazoo on 28 shots. The Jr. K Wings totaled 19 minutes in penalty time with seven minors and one major and went 0-for-2 on the power play.
