Cody Ganchar gave the St. Louis Bandits a 3-2 (OT) victory over the Texas Tornado when he scored 4:31 into the extra period. St. Louis came back from a two-goal deficit to capture the victory. The Bandits was down 2-0 after a goal by Texas' Taylor Herndon at 15:37 in the third period. St. Louis knotted things up at 2-2 on a goal by Frank Dichiara at 19:10 in the third period. The Bandits were led by Ganchar, who grabbed one goal and one assist. St. Louis additionally got points from Joe Kalisz, who also finished with one goal and one assist and Dichiara, who also tallied one goal and one assist. More assists for St. Louis came via TJ Sherman, who had one. The Tornado's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three St. Louis power plays. Texas kept St. Louis' goalie busy throughout the game, and Spencer Viele made 30 saves on 32 shots. The Tornado were helped by Mico Solorzano, who registered one goal.
