The Amarillo Bulls pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over the Texas Tornado on a clutch goal by Greg Gibson.

Amarillo was led by Gibson, who racked up one goal and one assist. Gibson scored 3:06 into overtime to make the score 3-2 Amarillo.

The Bulls' offense rang up 32 shots on Texas' net.

Karl Beckman also scored for Amarillo. In addition, Amarillo received assists from Joe Kozlak and Luke Jenkins, who each chipped in one.

The Tornado were led by Taylor Herndon, who registered one goal and one assist. Herndon scored on the power play 19:25 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Texas. Texas had gotten the advantage when Amarillo's Brandon Lubin was sent off for roughing. Jackson Leef assisted on the tally. Texas also got a goal from Jordan Lovick as well. More assists for Texas came via Jack Prince, who had one.

The Bulls' Gregg Gruehl stopped 26 shots out of the 28 that he faced. Amarillo incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors. Frederick Leisner rejected 29 shots on goal for the Tornado. Texas incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
