Maxwell Reavis tallied one point to lead the Port Huron Fighting Falcons to a 5-1 victory over the Bismarck Bobcats. Port Huron's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Bismarck power plays. Port Huron also got a goal from Kody Polin as well. More assists for Port Huron came via Alex Archibald, who had two and Easton Powers, Alex Globke, Logan Lemirande, Rick DeRosa, and Nicholas Sierra, who contributed one a piece. Bismarck excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in four chances. The Bobcats were led by Bryce Schmitt, who scored the team's only goal. Schmitt scored 10:17 into the first period to make the score 1-1. Buster Hebda picked up the assist. Max Milosek rejected 17 shots on goal for the Fighting Falcons. Port Huron incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Aaron Nelson took the loss and made eight saves before being replaced by Tommy Burke who made seven saves. Bismarck incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. |
