Wichita downs Texas in overtime, 2-1 (OT)

Chris Chappell gave the Wichita Thunder a 2-1 (OT) victory over the Texas Brahmas when he scored 1:59 into the extra period.

After the loss made the series score 3-2 in the best of seven series, Texas faces elimination next time out.

Wichita was sparked by Chappell, who finished with one goal.

Wichita also got a goal from Daniel Tetrault as well. More assists for Wichita came via Kevin Young, Matt Robinson, and Thomas Beauregard, who each chipped in one.

The Brahmas were led by Brett Findlay, who scored the team's only goal. Findlay scored on the power play 12:54 into the third period to make the score 1-1. Texas had gotten the advantage when the Thunder's Dustin Donaghy was sent off for tripping. Andrew Lackner assisted on the tally.

Adam Russo rejected 20 shots on goal for Wichita. The Thunder incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Brad Fogal recorded 24 saves for the Brahmas. Texas incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors.
