London falls to Strathroy in overtime, 3-2 (OT)

The Strathroy Rockets' Tyler Duarte scored 16:26 into overtime to beat the London Nationals, 3-2 (OT).

With the win, Strathroy evened the series at 2-2 in the best of seven showdown.

Duarte had a great game for the Rockets, netting two goals.

London's power play was ineffective against Strathroy's penalty kill, which allowed one goal while shorthanded.

The Rockets' offense rang up 55 shots on the Nationals' net.

Jacob Baribeau also scored for Strathroy. In addition, Strathroy received assists from Mitch McNeill and Derek Nap, who each chipped in one and Ryan Field and Nick Boyer, who contributed two a piece.

London kept Strathroy's goalie busy throughout the game, and Dalen Kuchmey made 36 saves on 38 shots.

The Nationals were helped by Paul Hopkins, who finished with one goal. Hopkins scored on the power play 14:11 into the second period to make the score 2-1 London. London had gained a power play chance when Brent Andriash was whistled for tripping. Aaron Dartch picked up the assist. London also got a goal from Daniel Cameron as well. More assists for London came via Scott Lombardi, who had one.

The Rockets incurred 16 minutes in penalty time with eight minors. Taylor Edwards made 52 saves for the Nationals on 55 shots. London incurred 14 minutes in penalty time with seven minors.
