The Nepean Raiders' Dalen Hedges scored 15:41 into overtime to beat the Pembroke Lumber Kings, 4-3 (OT). Nepean evened the best of seven series at 3-3 and forced a deciding game seven. Hedges had two goals to lead the Raiders to victory. Nepean's penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on four Pembroke power plays. The Raiders' offense rang up 47 shots on Pembroke's net. Jamie Olivier also scored for Nepean. In addition, Nepean received assists from Ryan Johnston, who had one and Kenneth Neil and Mitchell Herlihey, who contributed two a piece. The Lumber Kings kept Nepean's goalie busy throughout the game, and Matt Zawadzki made 36 saves on 39 shots. Pembroke did not rack up many penalties in the contest, finishing with only one minor for two minutes in penalty time. The Lumber Kings were helped by Patrice Wren, who finished with one goal. Wren scored 1:56 into the second period to make the score 2-1 Pembroke. Justin Pelock provided the assist. Pembroke also got a goal from Zach Loesch as well. More assists for Pembroke came via Tom Hilbrich, who had two and Swann Boisvert, Trevor Packard, and Jonathan Milley, who each chipped in one. The Raiders incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Francis Dupuis made 43 saves for Pembroke on 47 shots.
